mums connected

Mum's Connected is a free mum-to-be and mummy meet-up, hosted by our founder and ceo Denita Danielle. The sessions are funded by the National Lottery Community Fund, designed to bring mums together in a supportive, welcoming environment.

Delivered across four locations in Greater Manchester, Mum's Connected sessions will be led by guest experts and focus on key topics including feeding, perinatal mental health, physical health, and early motherhood. Alongside expert-led discussions, sessions offer space to relax, connect with other local mums, and build meaningful friendships.

Little ones are always welcome, and sessions are designed to be inclusive, friendly, and accessible for all mums.

virtual village

Virtual Village is our online mum support community, also funded by the National Lottery Community Fund, created to ensure mums feel supported beyond in-person sessions.

Hosted via WhatsApp, Virtual Village is moderated by trained volunteers with Safeguarding, Mental Health Awareness, Compassion Support and Signposting training, helping to keep the space safe, supportive, and inclusive.

As part of Virtual Village, we also act as a signposting hub, helping mums access relevant local and national services for further support, guidance, or follow-up advice when needed.

Virtual Village offers connection, reassurance, and support — wherever you are, whenever you need it.

moment for me

Moment for Me Sundays is an online self-care and reflection 30 minute session, exclusively for Virtual Village members. Part of our wider Virtual Village community, an online support network for mums funded by the National Lottery Community Fund. These sessions are designed to help members pause, practice mindfulness, and cultivate self-compassion in a safe, nurturing space.

Hosted once a month via Zoom by Dr Joyti, a qualified psychotherapist with training in counselling, psychotherapy, and yoga, each session blends guided mindfulness, reflective exercises, and gentle group connection. As part of Virtual Village, these sessions also complement our broader support network, offering reassurance, connection, and practical guidance for navigating everyday challenges, wherever you are, whenever you need it.

Sunday Sessions are part of our Virtual Village community, an online support network for mums funded by the National Lottery Community Fund. These sessions are designed to provide accessible, informative, and supportive learning opportunities for mums from the comfort of their own home.

Hosted once a month online, Sunday Sessions focus on key topics relevant to motherhood and everyday life, including areas such as birth reflection, returning to work, wellbeing, and practical life skills. Sessions may also include occasional themed learning such as introductory language sessions or other skill-based workshops.

Delivered in a relaxed and supportive format, Sunday Sessions aim to empower mums with knowledge, build confidence, and provide space for shared learning and discussion within a safe and inclusive environment.

Honeybunch exchange

Honeybunch Exchange is a community-led initiative designed to support families through sharing, swapping, and redistributing items within the Honeybunch network.

Replacing our previous Babies, Brews & Bargains sessions, Honeybunch Exchange will be integrated into our seasonal Community Days, offering a dedicated space for attendees to donate, swap, or take items in a supportive and accessible environment. The Exchange is open to a wide range of items, including baby essentials, children’s items, and general household goods.

Alongside in-person events, Honeybunch Exchange also operates within our Virtual Village community through a monthly, moderated system. Members are invited to submit item requests or availability, which are then shared within the group to facilitate safe and organised exchanges.

This initiative aims to reduce waste, ease financial pressure, and strengthen community support by encouraging sharing and connection among families.

sip and stroll

Sip & Stroll is a relaxed community walking experience designed to support wellbeing, connection, and gentle movement in a welcoming outdoor setting.

These sessions offer mums the opportunity to step outside, enjoy fresh air, and connect with others in a low-pressure, inclusive environment. Each session includes a free walk option, alongside a paid Sip & Stroll ticket which includes a light brunch-style experience. A “pay it forward” option is also available to help support other mums to attend.

Sip & Stroll sessions are open, friendly, and accessible, providing space for conversation, connection, and a moment to pause in the busyness of everyday life. Little ones are always welcome, and sessions are designed to be flexible and inclusive for all.

Honeybunch Socials logo

Honeybunch Socials are relaxed, informal meet-ups designed to help mums build genuine friendships and feel more connected within their community.

Taking place regularly throughout the year, these socials provide a low-pressure opportunity to get out, meet other mums, and enjoy shared experiences beyond structured sessions. Some socials are child-friendly, while others offer dedicated child-free time for mums to rest, reset, and reconnect with themselves.

Activities may include brunches, coffee meet-ups, cinema trips, and other simple, enjoyable outings. Honeybunch Socials are welcoming, inclusive, and centred around creating space for connection, laughter, and community.
